Job DescriptionThe Manager, Finished Goods Planning is a key member of the Commercial Supply Management team and is responsible for planning and coordinating product supply activities for the company's commercial stage products. The candidate develops effective forward looking demand, supply and inventory plans based on patient/market and product lifecycle requirements. Uses understanding of the unique characteristics of each product/product family to inform decisions and or/action plans that support sustainable, cost effective supply

•Develops supply plans to ensure continuous product supply while minimizing E&O. Works with commercial teams to ensure alignment of demand and supply plan.

•Serve as primary point of contact for Oracle planning tool (ASCP) implementation including data integrity validation and on-going maintenance.

•Monitors adherence to the demand and supply plans and recommends corrective action for non-adherence.

• Generates multiple scenarios for demand and supply balancing, clearly articulating assumptions and recommended alternatives.

•Develops plans and contingencies for ensuring stable supply for the introduction of new products and/or implementation of product lifecycle changes.

•Incorporates direction and decisions from demand and operations governance, lifecycle management, and production scheduling into disciplined, systems based inventory and supply plans.

•Facilitates cross-functional product meetings to resolve issues, gain alignment, and develop recommendations for balancing demand and supply

•Leads continuous improvement projects to drive expanded capabilities and improve the efficiency of existing processes. Collects and organizes data to inform decisions and/or action plans that support program / process improvements

•Lead and coordinate activities within global operations to ensure uninterrupted finished goods supply for demand. Includes SME inputs into specs, new items/SKUs from DS, DP and through to FG, change control, planned exceptions and related cGMP responsibilities to be in compliance at all time

•Develop reports on demand, inventory, production, and/or distribution plans for assigned programs or product types from various systems like Oracle MRP, ASCP, planning systems and databases.

•End to End Supply Chain Knowledge - Knowledge of the product lifecycle, the value chain (plan, source, make, deliver), and global supply chain functions that allows for effective cross-functional collaboration and efficient execution of day to day tasks. Understands the main phases of product development and commercialization. Demonstrates effective use of Global Supply Chain systems/technology (Oracle is a plus).

•Experience working within a cGMP operational or supply chain environment is a plus. Experience in planning in an MRP-based production environment is a plus. 10. Minimum 8+ years of strong business experience in overall planning, demand forecasting/supply planning, and evaluation of impact under various short and long term scenarios is required.
EducationBachelor or Master Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent working experience required. MBA preferred.
