Overview:Role Overview: MS Center Collaborative - Navigator Territory: Texas/Great Plains (accounts in Austin, Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City & Denver)The MS Center Collaborative Navigator is accountable for optimizing the experience for both the patient and the account whether it concerns initiation or maintenance on a Biogen product. This role serves as a resource to troubleshoot when individuals or groups of patients experience non clinical barriers while on a Biogen therapy. The Navigator may serve as a conduit for TBM escalation outside of the MS Center when necessary. The MSCC Navigator works with their respective local sales teams, MA&R and Patient Services colleagues to develop Center specific push through and pull through strategies across their assigned centers (approx. 5-7). This role is responsible for informing and supporting the local teams on the process to improve speed to access. The MS Center Navigator will be field based and require significant travel that may extend from 40-80% depending on the territory geography, customer requirements, meetings and required training.The MS Center Navigator must demonstrate a long-term track record of adherence to Biogen Corporate Compliance Policies.

Reacts appropriately based on importance or criticality of request; Accurately identifies what is most urgent and important for self, partners and customers.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):-Achieve sales goals.-Builds processes unique to each MS Center that optimizes Biogen product fulfilment from the perspective of both the patient and MS Center; continuously reevaluates and optimizes processes as needed.-Serve as the conduit between the MS Centers and Patient Services to streamline and simplify access to therapy. -Provides clear, accurate and timely information to both customers and internal stakeholders.-Proactively communicates updates and trends to MSCC Lead, MSCC Account Executive, peers and partners in Patient Services.-Demonstrates thorough understanding of Patient Services as it pertains to the customer and the needs of the local sales teams; shows long-term partnership capabilities with Patient Services.-Content expert with regards to vendor services unique to the Navigator role (ACS, CMM, iAssist, MSCC Case Managers, etc.).-Seen as local expert with managed care coverage, administrative processes and the healthcare landscape-Aligns Center strategies to Team-Up goals.-Manages regular cadence of communication across local field teams and cross-functional partners.-Understands role of cross-functional partners at Biogen and works collaboratively with each function to achieve maximum results.-Experience leading cross functionally and influencing without authority-Timely follow-up that demonstrates urgency to both the account and the patient.-Strong problem solving and analytical skills.-Demonstrates strong EQ skills.-Proficiency with Biogen support platforms (ie., PRISM, VEEVA, Disposition reports, etc).


Qualifications:-Minimum 5-7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experienceoIdeally 2+ years of experience in the MS Disease State or other related chronic disease-A successful track record in recent roles-Technical knowledge of health care reimbursement from a patient and provider perspective-Establishes effective relationships through mutual respect and trust in dealing with others-Experience navigating complex accounts-Must be comfortable with ambiguity and not having set processes and structures in place-Can identify issues quickly and can develop recommendations to resolve in a timely, compliant manner.-Strong presentation skills. Ability to clearly and succinctly convey his/her ideas to either groups or individuals-Advanced understanding of Biogen's culture. Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting his/her business and organization-Strong regional and national Managed Care knowledge-Strong organizational and communication skills- ability to navigate communication between BIIB and the HCP office-Understanding of patient privacy laws including HIPAA and similar state laws-Advanced understanding of compliance with OIG & regulatory requirements. -Demonstrated ability to navigate in ambiguous and complex environments-Strong problem solving skills-Product training on Biogen portfolio-Driving is an essential duty of this job; candidates must have a valid driver's license to be considered.-The MS Center Navigator must demonstrate a long-term track record of adherence to Biogen Corporate Compliance Policies.-The MS Center Navigator will be field based and require significant travel that may extend from 40-80% depending on the territory geography, customer requirements, meetings and required training.Education:BS/BA RequiredMBA Preferred
