External Posting TitleApplied Analytics and Operations Team Leader, Global Process Analytics
Job DescriptionIn this role, the person serves as the Team Leader for the Applied Analytics and Operations (AAO) capability in the Global Process Analytics (GPA) Center of Excellence (CoE). The AAO Team provides on-going analytics support of our manufacturing processes across the global internal/external network. The primary services of this capability are process condition monitoring through multivariate analysis, data aggregation and visualization to enable process trending and continued process verification, compliance with respect to data integrity and trending methods, and analytics support of root cause investigations and continual improvement efforts. These process data analytics capabilities are considered critical by the manufacturing organization and support all product modalities across the value chain. This leadership role includes coordination and leadership of the work by the team, working cross-functionally to ensure reliability and serving as the process steward for routine data analytics support as well as the primary contact to key stakeholders.


Key Job Responsibilities:

•Provide direct leadership of the Applied Analytics and Operations team to globally coordinate manufacturing support

•Stewards and ensures the application of the routine process data analytics work process

•Works closely with key stakeholders such as manufacturing operations, manufacturing sciences, automation, IT, and quality to ensure efficient and effective delivery of analytics

•Provides functional leadership of the CPV and routine trending program

•Supports regulatory inspections with respect to analytics work

•Responsible for performance management and career development of one or more direct reports.

•Foster external industry engagement

•Serves on the GPA steering group to support the operation and strategy of the group

Qualifications
•Expertise in multivariate process condition monitoring and model lifecycle management

•Expert level competency in trending and continuous/continued process verification

•Proven Team leadership and ability work in a dynamic cross functional and global environment

•High fluency in data management & analytics tools (Osi PI, Discoverant, SIMCA, Statistica, Tableau, etc)

•Biopharmaceutical manufacturing process understanding and experience

•Continual improvement experience and mindset (Lean or Six Sigma a plus)

•Employee management and development experience

•Understanding of modern regulatory landscape and advanced manufacturing concepts
EducationBachelor degree in an Engineering/Science discipline required. Masters degree preferred.
