Job Description

Drive all aspects of new product development for our components business, which will include -
Product testing for electrical parameters to 67 GHz (s-parameters, power, linearity, etc.) Software programming of automatic test equipment (Visual Basic) Data analysis and correlation to models (AWR and ADS software) Build and test customer samples of new prototypes. Design of evaluation boards, test fixtures, and probe systems Capital equipment purchase, calibration and repair decisions Supervision and lead of two technicians Position may evolve into a full time IC design position
BSEE, no experience need but classes or experience in RF/Microwave circuit and hardware a plus Willing to perform hands on test and characterization of hybrid microwave integrated components using discrete devices and MMICs. Must be well versed in electrical CAD tools such as Agilent's ADS and/or AWR's Microwave Office. Ability to program on a PC for automated test and charaterization Ability to learn and use microwave test equipment, techniques, test fixtures, etc.. Must have good organization, communication and leadership skills
