Internship Program

Join us this summer in an Internship or Co-op assignment. Our mission is to foster an environment of learning and application. Internship Summary

This position will work with the Logistics Manager and the Logistics analysts to documents processes, policies and procedures, in order to drive improved efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization. This position will have the opportunity to learn key Logistics principles, including carrier development, freight pay concepts, and transportation planning.

Core Responsibilities:

* Actively participate in sourcing, negotiation and analytical processes.

* Collaborate with internal customers to identify, implement and document cost savings and process improvement initiatives.

* Conduct miscellaneous industry and/or supplier analysis.

* Assist in the development, implementation and management of transportation optimization programs/policies

* Assist in master data management of TMS and ERP software

* Assist with the audit of carrier invoices

* Perform any other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in a university to attain a Bachelor/Master Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Operations Management.

* Minimum High School Diploma with one year of college, preferably in the area of Logistics/Supply Chain Management.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Basic knowledge of Transportation and DoT Regulations.

* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

* Basic knowledge of TMS providers
