Job Description


As a HR Intern in the rotational program, students will have the opportunity to rotate between two key areas of human resources during the 12-week internship; Talent and Total Rewards OR Shared Services and Plant Generalist. In this role, the intern will work with the HR team by supporting the tactical management of daily HR operations, tied specifically to the functional needs.


Talent Acquisition

* Partner with the talent acquisition team in the recruitment process by sourcing, screening and support the Talent Acquisition Consultants in the interview and selection process.
* Performs assigned talent acquisition & onboarding duties including sourcing, recruitment & selection and new hire orientation

Total Rewards

* Develops Total Rewards principles including benefit plan strategy and compensation philosophy
* Designs all Total Rewards programs, manages vendor partners, implements and administers programs and ensures cost containment
* Support merger and acquisition activities

Shared Services

* Provides HRIS/payroll transactional support to business leaders, processes HR transactions, provides standard HRIS reports and adhoc reports to business leaders along with required data analytics to support decision making.

Plant Generalist

* Partners with HR Shared Services and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver HR Service Model, including resolution of employee inquiries and issues


* Development and execution of simple, repeatable processes for completion of HR work streams related to employee transactions and HR processes
* Continual learner of the company's business process and gains functional expertise


* Junior or Senior standing by June with GPA above 3.0
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
* Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
* Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
* Ability to organize and disseminate information efficiently, write and/or adjust reports used to provide data quality metrics
* Must be able to work with and communicate to all levels of resources and management
