The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

 

The Role

The Bell Residential and Small Business market (BRSB) Alternate channels sales team is a fast paced, dynamic, customer focused team responsible for door to door and retail sales operations. The Sales Operations team duties are threefold: 1- Targeted selling support, 2- Reporting, 3- Sales operations tool and process optimisation. We also act as a liaison between the sales management teams and the marketing operations teams. We support day-to-day operations, tactical implementations and strategic planning.  The team plays an integral role in decision-making at multiple levels of management through analysis, reporting and real-world, on-the-terrain understanding of the sales function.  

 

This is a terrific opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to a dynamic and successful sales operations team that will continue to help transform the organization in driving this very significant and strategic mandate within BRSB.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Assess new and existing corporate tools to ensure alternate channels are being served optimally
  • Recommend new tools or tool adaptation : e.g. mobile applications, mobile devices, asset management
  • Work with IT and business analysts to design business plans and project schedules
  • Manage end to end projects: from business plan, to budget approvals and budget tracking. 
  • Adapt Alternate channel sales processes and sales systems to corporate system solutions
  • Support existing team members to upgrade their technical skills
  • Project manage with diligent deadline setting and regular communication

 

Critical Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, CS, Engineering, IT and/or related fields
  • Proven project management skills & business planning rigour
  • 5+ years experience business analysis, system and process design, sales optimisation processes
  • Excellent written and oral communicator with a demonstrable history of developing strong partnerships and cross-team collaboration

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of (Bell Canada) or other large business project approval processes
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems such as Siebel, Salesforece.com, etc an asset
  • Strong system to system data sharing principles comprehension
  • Solid SQL and preferably some SAS skills
