An integral part of our customer service focus, includes contact centres across Canada supporting all of our Bell Mobility and Bell Residential Services customers. Our  Customer Operations team is responsible for strategy, design and delivery of core call centre tools and processes, including queue strategy, routing, and call monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the requirements of internal client requests in order to determine the steps and effort needed to support their request
  • Explore data sources of information in order to meet the requirements
  • Design and build the dataset needed to deliver the request in accordance with our modular approach and self-serve strategy
  • Design and build the visualization using tools such as Tableau to render the information to enable the client to answer their business questions
  • Develop using programming standards and build appropriate documentation 
  • Maintain and expand your knowledge of BI and current technology through training opportunities.

 

Required Competencies:

You have a Bachelor’s degree, and 3 yrs+ work experience in an area such as:

  • Business Intelligence;
  • Applied Math;
  • Applied or Computer Science;
  • Engineering;
  • Economics or Econometrics;
  • Management Science or Operations Research.
  • You are analytical and understand the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets
  • You have the ability to leverage insights from data and metrics to make recommendations
  • You have knowledge of, and preferably experience with, visualization tools
  • You are able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset in Ontario and a requirement in Quebec
  • You are a self starter who is comfortable working with and presenting to all management levels (up to Executive VP)

 

Preferred Competencies:

  • Experience with data systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, SAS or others
  • Experience with BI and data warehouse technologies
  • Experience in Telecommunications
