The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

The Role:

Reporting to the Regional Manager of Business Sales, the Business Sales Manager will be accountable for delivering the strategy and execution of such functions as:

  • Building business partnerships and strategic alliances with major sales partners to successfully grow and enable the F2F channel.
  • Actively negotiating with the sales partners, and managing successful execution of all programs to ensure achievement of sales and profit targets
  • Prioritizing various sales tactics that will optimize efficiency & ROI
  • Pricing and Profitability Analysis
  • Competitive Analysis

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus is to meet sales and revenue targets as set by management
  • Manage partner programs for all Bell products within our market
  • Work closely with Bell Sales Partners to ensure successful execution of all programs
  • Develop and launch tailored account programs
  • Provide sales partner performance reports on a weekly basis
  • Ensure project deadlines and deliverables are consistently met
  • Provide feedback such as competitive activities, pricing, product acceptance, etc.

 

Critical Competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales operations
  • Experienced leading a sales team that specializes in penetrating various ethnic communities
  • Inspirational and creative sales leader that posses demonstrated experience driving aggressive results
  • Customer Service Orientation, Teamwork, Collaboration, Adaptability and Initiative
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to anticipate problems, opportunities and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team at the divisional and corporate level
  • Ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, written and analytical skills

 

Preferred Competencies:

  • 3-5 years sales experience with a history of over achievement performance
  • Previous major account experience
  • Previous management/supervision of a sales team is an asset
  • Telecom sales experience would be ideal
  • Skilled in solution based or consultative based selling techniques
