A Day in the Life of an Electrical Facilities Engineer:

The Electrical Facilities Engineer provides Bell facilities with a variety of support functions that are critical to operations. You will:

* Provide technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting electrical failures, repairs and evaluation of equipment design and service conditions.
* Provides maintainability input to capital and expense projects.
* Provide equipment reliability and performance data for input into equipment purchasing, evaluation of performance, vendor performance and modifications to existing infrastructure.
* Review electrical infrastructure (systems, lighting, energy, electrical codes, utilities).
* Metric development and analytics.
* Use AutoCAD and LEAN/6S/Visual Factory daily to drive functional objectives and complete projects.
* Use strategic planning skills to complete projects.
* Assist in planning electrical shutdowns as well as emergency shutdown response procedures.
* Participate in developing the budget to support current and future maintenance strategy.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree is required.
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field strongly preferred.
* 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA.

Minimum Requirements for an Electrical Facilities Engineer at Bell:

* Strong statistical analysis capability and computer skills, including AutoCAD and PC/Microsoft programs.
* Willingness to learn, collaborate with team members, and develop real skills that can be applied to future opportunities.
* Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and coordination skills.
* Ability to prioritize a variety of assignments.

Ideal Candidates Also Have:

* Desire to train and register for professional licensing exam
* Previous work experience with construction firms, engineering firms, or as a general contractor.
* Experience working with computer aided design (CAD) software packages, statistical analysis programs, and scripting/programming.
* Knowledge outside of the classroom that can be applied to the work environment.
* Previous leadership and group experience in cross functional teams.
