Job Description

Software Developer and Tester - Contingent Worker

The Software Developer and Tester - Contingent Worker is located at Bell Helicopter's headquarters facility in Ft. Worth, TX, and will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following. This is a temporary Contingent Worker position in Bell Helicopter's V-22 Program Logistics organization.

* Design and test of ground-based aircraft maintenance systems software
* Systems and software design, requirements management, systems specifications, validation and verification testing, and documentation for system and software requirements in a laboratory or desktop simulation environment
* Perform formal software development through design for requirements using various programming languages, libraries and file formats, programming tools, and CM tools
* Conduct software integration and systems testing on target hardware in a lab environment
* Develop, implement, document, and review software cases and expected results

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree is required. Major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
* Master's Degree in the Computer Science disciplines mentioned above is preferred.

Position Requirements:

* IT Level II certification with Security , Windows 7/10 operating systems, and Windows Server 2012/2016 is preferred.
* Must be able to pass and obtain a USG Background Investigation and Common Access Card (CAC)
* Must be knowledgeable concerning - and have experience with - with multiple primary development environments:

o Programming languages, architectures, libraries and file formats include ASP, C#, Java, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery, Restful web services, MVC, CSS, JSF, SQL (database) XML (including Xpath/Xquery), SVG (Graphics/Plotting/…), and HTTP

o Programming tools include Tomcat (Web Server), PostGreSql (Database), Eclipse (Development Environment) Squirrel (Database) Ant (Build Tool)

o Configuration Management tools include SVN, Dimensions/PVCS, BugZilla
