The position is responsible for the delivery of internal and external mail within the company on a routine basis and preparing the delivery of statement and customer notification mailings according to policies and procedures.

Primary Duties:
* Run postal equipment such as the postage meter and folder/inserter in a financial institution environment.
* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and contact appropriate vendors when needed in a timely manner.
* Communicate known issues within statement/mail operations workflow in a timely manner.
* Process incoming mail sorting mail by departments and branch locations.
* Deliver mail in a timely manner.
* Prepare mail packages for outgoing mail distribution.
* Assist in the backup process to verify check items within item processing.
* Prepare and perform postal regulation duties as it relates to USPS requirements for mail delivery.
* Perform mathematical calculations to ensure proper postal rates are applied for timely delivery to customer.
* Review and sort exception statements on a regular basis.
* Assist in the preparation of undeliverable mail when required.
* Participate in designated meetings as assigned.
* Follow established policies and procedures, accurately and efficiently to meet team quality standards.
* Communicate production processing issues timely to supervisor for resolution.
* Continually review daily workflow looking for improvements in production processing.
* Responsible for assisting business partners within Bell Bank in a professional manner.
* Work flexible hours to support the department needs to include after hours and weekends, if necessary.
* Respond quickly in a demanding environment, completing tasks on time.
* Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.
* Know and practice LOCBUTN, our Golden Rules, and Bell Bank Customer Service Standards.
* Know, understand, and live the company values and bottom line.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Required:
* Two-year degree in business.
* Minimum of one year experience in a mailroom environment.
* Skills and experience with machines and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
* Excellent public relations and verbal communication skills.
* Detailed oriented.
* A general knowledge of personal computers.
* Mathematical and analytical skills.
* Must have the ability to respond quickly in a demanding environment as well as complete tasks on time.
