Job Description

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of in-house print advertising projects, pre turn in through final release to pre-media in support of Belk Sales Promotion print and advertising campaigns.

Essential Functions:

* Provides assistance for all Sales Promotion Project Campaigns.
* Delivers/Creates Workload breakdown report - assigning graphic designers, production artists and copy writers to print media.
* Serves as key point person for assigned merchant groups.
* Prioritize creative work order (layout), image placements and production projects daily.
* Manages multiple projects that are ready to be designed, or ready for edits.
* Prioritizes, tracks, handles and maintains records of the elements and time schedules of multiple projects.
* Traffics flow at all stages of assigned projects. Communicates status to all relevant internal/external parties.
* Mange marketing offers for all Sales Promotion Project Campaigns.
* Creates Re-Cap Report for internal creative team.
* Final check against annotation report.
* Adheres to all project deadlines.
* Attends meetings to discuss, requirements and core messages for advertising copy strategic focus and brand guidelines.
* Provide clear historical documentation for all past projects.
* Prioritizes, tracks, handles and maintains records of the elements and time schedules of multiple projects.
* Maintains all creative project and design files, illustration library, signing library as needed.
* Adheres to all Quality Assurance Process and Procedures.
* Compiles and distributes Recap/Revises/Reshoot Lists as well as Match Merch Lists.
* Obtains model/final proof approvals as well as vendor approvals.
* Responsible for keeping track of the number and types of changes per print job and for the life of each print project.
* Delivers and collects all hard proofs to and from external parties.
* Creates Project Planning Guides and other related documents/reports as needed and communicates to relevant internal parties and external vendors.
* Oversee that all production details, vendor schedules and specifications are met as communicated by Print Manager.
* Assist the Project Manager with schedules from sample turn-ins through distribution and keep department schedule
* updated on "as needed" basis.
* Assist Project Manager when needed and keep direct and open lines of communication for all production
* specifications and schedule needs.
* Keep Creative Team informed for any vendor quality or scheduling issues, or specification changes.
