About You

You graduated or will graduate with a bachelor#s degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineeringtechnology, optical engineering, Polymer Science, or a related degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. You have at least two, relevant internships, or less than two years working experience. You are a passionate, enthusiastic individual who is ready to take on a challenge and ready to build a career in the Research & Development function.

What We Have to Offer

As one of our class of 2023, you will have regular opportunities to connect with peers from other ECLP tracks, as you participate in annual week-long leadership modules that are highly interactive and action based learning curriculum. During each module, you will receive extensive leadership training and development. The program is designed tobuild your knowledge of our core business systems, develop your business acumen, and create a strong foundation for your functional and leadership skills. Team members will also receive individualized feedback throughout the program, along with the mentoring support of a leader in Belden.

We offer opportunities to work in multiple locations, including Richmond, IN; Syracuse, NY; Elizabeth, NJ; and Washington, PA.

Possible Rotations

Product or Design Engineer

* Develop laboratory experience
* Advance manufacturing knowledge
* Experience the product launch process

Manufacturing or Quality Engineer

* Learn about compliance, customs/trade and project management
* Analyze testing procedures, machine capabilities and material flow
* Experience Lean management

Product Management

* Research products, markets and competitors
* Learn about portfolio management
* Develop advanced product knowledge

Required Skills and Experience

* Passionate, enthusiastic individuals who are ready to take on a challenge
* Pursuing a bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Optical Engineering, Polymer Science (or other applicable majors)
* Minimum GPA of 3.0
* Demonstrate leadership aptitude with the desire to build a career in Research & Development
* At least two, relevant internships, or less than two years working experience is required
