Located in North Ridgeville, OH, Beckett Air is part of a successful group of privately owned companies. Beckett Air's skilled, non-union work force delivers over seven million airflow components annually. This output is produced in a modern 130,000 sq. ft. facility utilizing custom high-speed automated assembly equipment and streamlined work cells. The production supervisor is a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of our production team members. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.


  • Effectively schedules all work according to production needs and ensures that team members have the proper tools, equipment, supplies, and instruction to perform the assigned work.
  • Maintains and ensures effective communications regarding performance and departmental and/or company goals.
  • Trains and develops new and existing employees in areas such as safety, quality, and equipment operating procedures.
  • Develops and conducts effective performance appraisals.
  • Ensures consistent compliance to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participates in recruitment of new employees.
  • Participates in new production introduction as required.
  • Works with manufacturing engineering to implement improved processes to improve; cost, quality, delivery and safety.
  • Monitors and manages department and individual productivity to ensure cost effective schedule attainment.
  • Effectively manages department resources such as supplies and equipment to control costs and meet production demands.
  • Provides positive image and plays a supportive role, in the implementation and execution of change.


  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in experience.
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years' experience in a non-union manufacturing environment required with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years in supervision.
  • Practical experience using six sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in cellular manufacturing a plus.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
