Accountant I Position Overview:

  • Performs a variety of accounting activities related to the receipt of money. Computes and records transactions into resort accounting system and verifies transactions in order to ensure accuracy and locate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Responsible for keeping a large balanced bank.
  • Prepare banks and change orders for employees and departments.
  • Verify accuracy of deposits received.
  • Prepare group bank deposits.
  • Provide basic banking services-make change, petty cash, etc.
  • Audit house banks on a surprise basis and performs random mid-shift bank audits.
  • Report on cash discrepancies.
  • Maintain supply of change for property.
  • Transport money including coin around resort.
  • Prepare invoices for game room and laundry paid outs.
  • Prepare and enter in G/L cashier worksheet journal entry.
  • Prepare and enter in G/L petty cash journal entry.
  • Prepare and enter in G/L miscellaneous deposit journal entry.
  • Maintain database and inventory for Scrip (trade vouchers).
  • Maintain redeemed gift certificate log.
  • Assist guests with inquiries.
  • Gather and document tax-exempt hotel and F&B data.
  • Organize and categorize paperwork received from front desk.
  • Update sales journal and post in general ledger.
  • Prepare and distribute the daily manager's report
  • Handle guest inquiries, refunds, and hotel settlement inquiries.
  • Respond to credit card processors regarding disputes and charge backs.
  • Report on hotel posting errors and make corrections.
  • Trouble-shoot and reconcile hotel and F&B discrepancies.
  • Backup other accounting position(s).
  • Promote by example, Beaver Run core values and service standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Previous cash handling experience required.
  • Accounting background preferred along with knowledge of common accounting procedures.
  • Experience in a hotel accounting environment helpful.
  • Understanding of relevant computer programs.
  • 10-key desk calculator experience required.
  • Spreadsheet and hotel software experience helpful.
  • Must have organizing and prioritizing ability with attention to accuracy, detail and problem solving ability.
  • Needs good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift and carry a 25 pound box of coin.
  • Requires using hands, wrists and arms continuously with frequent stretching of the arms.
  • Able to perform multiple tasks.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships and function as a team player. 

Housekeeping Position Overview:

  • Cleans guest rooms to the quality and quantity standards established.
  • Provides friendly service to guests and homeowners.
  • Operate equipment necessary to perform unit cleaner job duties.
  • Work with cleaning chemicals.
  • Communicate with resort guest and coworkers.
  • Work in a crowded, messy, fast-paced environment.
  • Work indoors and outdoors with varying temperatures.
  • Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain private households or commercial establishments, such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.




  • Previous commercial or professional cleaning experience preferred but not required.
  • Able to push a vacuum.
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly.
  • Able to push a full housekeeping cart and full floor cart.
  • Walk, bend and stoop.

Services Coordinator Position Overview:

  • Organize conference group functions for food & beverage, banquets and accomodations.
  • Meet with groups and group leaders.
  • Ensure proper execution of each groups planned function in resort.
  • Communicate with all departments at Beaver Run Resort to ensure proper exection of plans.
  • Sell and execute all aspects of weddings.
  • File and organize office documents, and various other duties assigned.




  • Computer skills in Microsoft, Delphi and SMS.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Guest service experience and skills.
  • Experience in an office environment working with customers and internal operations.
  • Conference Services experience preferred.
  • Previous sales experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work variable shifts.
