Job Description

This is a 6-month contract (possibly longer) for a CSS Developer to work on their policies and procedures system. The client is moving towards using MadCap, so any experience with that tool would be a plus - but not required. Also, any type of Technical Writer experience would again be a plus, but not required. Requirements are for someone to be a very strong CSS Developer who will be able to provide samples of their work to demonstrate their abilities.

The consultant will be assisting with our client's initiative to implement MadCap Flare as the method to create and publish our policy and procedure manual.

The focus of this position will be to assist in the configuration of the homepage, skins, and index and search tools, leveraging knowledge of CSS to help design a smooth end-user experience. This position will also support the upload of Legacy content into MadCap Flare and identify automated methods to expedite both the conversion and future updates.

Experience Required:

CSS experience required.

Technical writing or professional writing experience preferred.

MadCap Flare experience preferred.
