Job Description

Beacon Hill has an opportunity for an IT Business Analyst with our client located in Brecksville, Ohio.


  • This is an opening in the Development area of the Information Services department for a combined Business Analyst/Quality Assurance Analyst.
  • As a Business Analyst, ideal candidates must be able to define and analyze customer's business/functional requirements and communicate those requirements for small-to-large sized projects to the IS department (peers) in functional terms and some technical terms.
  • The BA must have a proven track record of writing business functional requirements documents for systems to be implemented.
  • Additionally, the BA must be able to explain information technology solutions to the customer in non-technical, layman's terms.


Experience developing the following:

  • Business Process Flow documents
  • Functional requirements documents
  • Presentations/briefings
  • Functional system specifications (not technical system specifications)
  • Test Plans
  • User Acceptance Criteria Checklist
  • Feasibility studies
  • Cost/Benefit Analyses
  • Project plans
