We're looking for unique candidates who can speak both the business and technical languages fluently, are passionate about hands-on technical consulting and creative problem solving, and feel comfortable with complicated code and new technologies. This job requires a great deal of focus, passion and commitment.

Is this opportunity a good fit for you?

As our Implementation Engineer - API you're acting as a Technical Consultant/ Project Manager managing around 15-20 concurrent projects all differing in size, complexity, and geographic locations. You're working with our client's web teams on implementing our software using our APIs into their systems, and being the point of contact for all technical components of a project.

You'll own the technical relationship with the client directly, and our clients are something we are particularly proud of - we work with over 50% of the Fortune 100 and 8 out 10 of the most valuable retail chains globally so this role will give you fantastic exposure to great clients.

In the grand scheme of things this role is absolutely integral in ensuring we move forward as a business as you are taking clients from a completed sales process to being live with our technology on their website.

To summarize, your responsibilities include but is not limited to:

* Manage client technical relationships during the implementation project.
* Investigate, design, and scope solutions for integration and API service requests
* Recommend and administer the adoption of integration and API best practices
* Participate in API process design, creation of process documentation, and delivery of training

to the team
* Formal testing, troubleshooting, and QA.
* Development and maintenance of internal and client-facing documentation.

Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role

The key things we are going to be looking for in your CV and assessing you on are:


* API solution design and implementation experience
* Experience using and implementing SDKs
* Knowledge of API standards such as OAuth2, JSONP, HTTP caching & rate limiting, and more
* Ability to creatively solve problems, sometimes with little supervision or hand-holding
* Positive, self-starter attitude, and desire to exceed client expectations at every opportunity.
* Attention to detail and absolute focus on quality of work while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
* Full authorisation to work in U.S.

Nice to have:

* Client facing / consultancy experience a plus.
* Experience using version control software and issue tracking systems.
* Experience with fast paced, high volume project work.
* Programming languages Python, PHP, Java, etc. and knowledge of SQL & JSON.
* Additional language skills.
