Job Description


Silver Hill Funding, LLC is a small-balance commercial mortgage lender offering financing from $250,000 to $5,000,000 on commercial real estate including multifamily, mixed-use, office, retail, light industrial, self-storage, automotive, mobile home park, daycare center, restaurant, bar and warehouse property types.

Commercial properties considered small by their loan size often represent a big potential impact to business owners and investors. That's why Silver Hill Funding has designed a lending platform to bring flexible small-balance commercial loans to this underserved niche.


Silver Hill Funding is looking for interns that are proactive, innovative, learning agile and have a bias for action. This particular internship will be in our Small Balance Commercial Originations department. Our Intern for Silver Hill Funding will:

* Learn structure and develop basic proficiency in Salesforce and Pardot (the gold standard and most used CRM)
* Managing data integrity in Salesforce
* Lead Segmentation for targeted marketing campaigns in Pardot
* Create basic reports and dashboards needed by operations team members.
* Assist with the creation of simple workflows/validation rules. Special projects as assigned by management
* Gain exposure to a variety of reporting and analytical tools (Salesforce, SQL, CAS, advanced Excel, others)
* Assist with creating, maintenance and distribution of reporting around pipeline, production, portfolio and marketing reporting
* Learn Basic SQL querying and introduction to database structure
* Assist with compilation of government required HMDA reporting for Q2 2019
* Lots of ad hoc opportunity

From this internship, you will gain experience in:

* Bachelors of Science in Management Information Systems or related major.

This publication provides valuable statistical data to Bayview investors regarding previously issued securities, as well as themortgage loan assets collateralizing the transactions. In addition to the structuring and management of Bayview asset backed securities, the Structured Finance team also manages Bayview's Micro Securitization Program ("MSP"). The MSP involves Bayview structuring and purchasing a senior asset backed security from a pool of loans originated and/or owned by a third party client. Since 2000, Bayview has completed $400 million of these transactions (representing 18 separate securities), many with repeat issuers. This financing alternative represents an attractive source of funding for many smaller financial institutions that have concentrated loan pools and/or cannot directly access the securitization market in a cost-effective manner.
