Provides responsible technical assistance in support of a research project by completing assignments requiring a basic knowledge of fundamental techniques and practices related to a particular academic or scientific field. Works under minimal supervision by a higher-level research staff member.
* Prepares and conducts laboratory research experiments.
* Collects, compiles and analyzes data.
* Documents results of experiments.
* Orders laboratory supplies and equipment.
* Enters data into research database.
* Cleans equipment and work area.
* Assists in the preparation of laboratory reports.
Required: Bachelor's degree in a basic science or equivalent education and work experience.
No experience required, experience in molecular biology preferred.
