The primary role of the position is to support the implementation of the NA2025 Strategy Objectives for the Customer Focused Operational Excellence Action Field. The candidate will be responsible for the concept, design, development and implementation of end-to-end process improvements for our customer facing processes, specifically Delivery Reliability Failures. The position will interface with all functions including the Supply Chain Design Global Team, Logistics Procurement, GS Functions, and the Business Units. The scope of responsibility will include conducting process evaluations to identify quick wins and initiate projects.

Customer Focused Order Management Delivery Reliability Project Lead (1703407) - Florham Park, NJ

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Investigate the root causes of Order Management failures and identify solutions and drive reduction within the Sales Order Process.
- Analyze and drive improvement of Order Management failures that can be attributed to, but not limited to, date management, delivery creation accuracy, the shipment end TM process, and early deliveries/early shipments.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team.
- Evaluate and improve end-to-end customer-facing processes that cut across the BASF organization.
- Follow the completion of the order-to-delivery process and evaluate planning activities across the entire Integrated Sales & Operations Planning landscape (e.g., Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning).
- Conduct regular process health checks with the business and proactively monitor process discipline via agreed Process Performance Indicators and Key Performance Indicators.
- Develop continuous improvement plans with the business and form joint solution teams to deploy and sustainably implement them.
- Drive planning competency and people capability improvements within the Businesses through expert knowledge sharing, training, and coaching.
- Lead and develop expert communities within the Business.
- Identify required changes to existing processes and systems. Facilitate the successful design, development, and implementation of these solutions. Support the validation and testing of the changes through IT.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
- Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Science; advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading/managing projects.
- Prior background in extracting data from various sources, analyzing results, and developing recommendations to Management/Business Units.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience in Operations and/or Transportation and/or Customer Service role within a Business Unit or Corporate Function is preferred.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams and interaction with contacts in different regions desired.
- Lean Six Sigma project experience is a plus.
