We are seeking a Six Sigma Deployment Manager for our Beachwood, OH facility.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Provide direction for the organizational set-up, strategy, and approach for Six Sigma in alignment with the N-EBN Strategy.
- Responsible for the N-EBN Six Sigma cost center, including preparation of budget, approval of expenditures, monitoring costs, and adherence to budget.
- Ensure N-EBN Six Sigma processes and activities are aligned with the N-EBN Strategy, BASF "We create chemistry" strategy, and BASF Standards.
- Ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and customer orientation of LSS solutions.
- Maintain consistent application of Continuous Improvement framework (DMAIC) to all Six Sigma projects within N-EBN.
- Conduct management reporting on status of Six Sigma programs/projects and performance against targets.
- Manage the organization of events, trainings, and workshops and utilization of various media.
- Motivate others to actively adopt Six Sigma principles and support LSS activities.
- Collect and exchange of best practices. Identify improvement potential of the concepts by observing ongoing local projects and trainings (lessons learned).
- Help craft "Challenges" for employees in MasterIdea.
- Manage the Innovation Challenge from start to finish.
- Wear necessary safety equipment and follow company established Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Follow all appropriate Environmental Protection, Safety, Health, and Quality (EHS) policies.
- Wear prescribed Personal Protective equipment and ensure prescribed safeguards are properly used.
- Immediately report unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor and take immediate interim steps to protect others from serious risk
- Understand that Safety and Environmental responsibility is a major part of BASF culture. Must report all unsafe conditions and accidents immediately to appropriate managers or directors.
- Must understand and follow all quality initiatives and processes for ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and other ISO regulations, procedures, and processes as they pertain to job responsibilities.
- Process safety roles and responsibilities across the organization are clearly-defined and include an expectation to raise, and authority to respond to process safety concerns. Senior leaders are held accountable for process safety performance. Employees understand the importance of process safety as it applies to their jobs and are responsible for following and contributing to the work processes to achieve improvement in company process safety, performance.
- Assure standards of safety, environmental, team and individual performance are met in a high-performance, team-based organization.
- Address and raise the EHS standards at BASF.
