This position will play a key role in creating value for the company through people. This position is expected to enable greater personal success among our employees through quality people development, coaching and performance management.

Site Development Coordinator (1702771) - Zachary, LA

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Site Medical Contact. This includes scheduling annual site physicals, maintain medical records for compliance. Maintain eMCP (Corporate Medical Program) and scheduling of random drug testing.
- Site Contractor Coordinator. This includes verifying all required assessments are completed prior to hire, communication with third party vendors to assure all contract personnel are up to date with annual physicals, etc.
- Site HR Coordinator duties including staffing, new hire/onboarding, time & attendance administration, personnel reporting, employee relations issues, etc.
- Lead site community involvement initiatives, including United Way, March of Dimes, Teacher Externships, etc.
- Coordinate site administrative activities to assure effective assignment of resources and activities
- Site Communications Coordinator
- Site Records Management Coordinator - assure all records are maintained in accordance to BASF policy standards
- Cost center reconciliation - review monthly administrative costs to assure compliance with site budgeting
- Assist department heads as needed

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

Education

- BS in Business Administration or High School diploma and 8-10 years experience in administration or human resources in a manufacturing environment.

Experience
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP knowledge
- Knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
- Professional certification a plus

Knowledge/Skills

- Excellent Interpersonal communication and organizational skills

- High degree of professionalism and judgment when dealing with confidential information

- Flexible in changing work priorities and able to work under pressure

- Able to prioritize work without direct supervision.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, interact and influence with all levels of management

- Strong business acumen required
