We are seeking a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master to work in the Bespoke organization in a global context in support of overall DevOps activities, with focus on the APN Business Unit Digitalization.

Scrum Master - DevOps Team (1703091) - Research Triangle Park, NC

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Lead meetings, keep team members focused, and facilitate groups to reach timely consensus.
- Detect when a process is in trouble; draft impact analyses, and propose and implement resolutions.
- Listen to the internal business partners and respond to their needs in a manner that provides added value.
- Provide the highest quality services which meet the needs and requirements of all internal business partners.
- Guide the IT team and organization on effectively using Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver solutions to internal business partners.
- Direct the IT team on getting the most of out of self-organization with Agile principles.
- Support and educate the Product Owner, particularly on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Organize Sprint Planning meetings, including review of the Product Backlog and collaborating with the Product Owner and the Core Teams.
- Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information around the solutions being constructed.
- Maintain an exceptional level of internal business partner focus centered on integrity and transparency with Agile principles.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- A minimum of 10 years of in-depth experience in the IT industry and/or IT Consulting, including recent experience in Project Management.
- Scrum Master certification is a plus; proven experience leading software delivery teams as a Scrum Master or similar roles.
- Deep knowledge of several Agile methods, frameworks and concepts (e.g., Scrum, XP, Lean Software Development, Kanban, LeSS, SAFe).
- Familiarity with software engineering practices (e.g., Continuous Development, Agile, Lean Startup, Design Thinking, MVP, Test Driven Development).
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment; experience with Agile transformation.
- Great understanding and experience defining Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- Experience working with dynamic, highly collaborative teams.
