Where the Chemistry Happens…

This Supply Chain Planner role is charged with overall ownership and management for demand, supply, and inventory for the Fuel and Lubricant Solutions portfolio in North America. The Regional DS&I will lead discussions and manage an aggregated view of production output for 2 manufacturing sites within North America, as well as interaction with Global regarding respective inventory and total network production capacity.

Additionally, this role is responsible for regional leadership and overall management of the rough cut (3-18 month) manufacturing site operational plans and respective inventory.

Supply Chain Planner III: Demand, Supply & Inventory Management (1702895) - Florham Park, NJ

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Lead the Supply Reviews (Site Operational Planning Meetings) for Puebla and Cincinnati as an input into the Global EVJ S&OP process
- Identify scheduling improvements and balance supply-based off global demand structure.
- Present key Supply Chain escalation topics into Business Unit Leadership Team as part of S&OP process.
- Manage aggregated regional Demand, Supply & Inventory balance (DS&I).
- Partner with Product Management in developing supply strategies; including responsibility for inventory modeling projection and targets across G-EVO.
- Ensure the application and continuous improvement of regional systems and tools to efficiently manage the regional DS&I processes.
- Identify and drive planning process improvements in collaboration with G-EVO supply chain, EV supply chain, and BASF Planning Communities.
- Participate in Supply Chain or Business Projects as required
- Collect regional and interregional demands and execute rough cut planning (3-18-month horizon). Develop mid- and long-term production, replenishment, and tolling plan.
- Challenge consolidated demands with regional product management, Sales, and Supply Chain Planners.
- Participate in Inter-Regional Demand and Supply Planning (IRDSP) meetings.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field, combined with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of SAP R/3 and APO, along with strong expertise in MS Excel, is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of material planning processes, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Sales and Operations planning (S&OP).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks effectively.
- Action-oriented, with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
