Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist (1702050) - Virtual

Formula for Success: You Will…

M&A specialists provide support to People Consultants for divestitures, site closures and M&A activities. The M&A specialists will be responsible for the execution of the procedures, communications and implementation of all relevant documentation including: transitional, retention and offer letters; establishment of transition teams and timelines. Also responsible for integrations of payroll, benefits, etc. and coordination with M+A CoE. Day 1/go live sequencing and communication.

In addition, M&A specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Support the sites needs by applying frameworks, methods and tools to align process, structure and systems during the divestiture, merger or acquisition.
- Assist People Consultants to implement and maintain appropriate compensation and benefit processes and programs. Ensure the development of job descriptions, job analysis, analyzing salary surveys to monitor internal equity and market competitiveness in relation to M&As and divestitures.
- Effectively observe and manage the site environments, evaluating the site culture and employee relations issues. Counsel managers and employees during transition periods while serving as liaison between SHRBA, myHR and employees.
- Coordinate with the appropriate HR groups to ensure training, development and succession planning activities are in place to ensure a seamless integration for new employees.
- Support the identification of potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
- Provide communication, project plan and implementation strategies to ensure successful M&A or diverstiture.

- Master's Degree or MBA is preferred.
- 4+ years of progressive professional experience in human resources is required.
