Manager, Leadership Excellence (1702000) - Florham Park, NJ

As part of the Leadership Excellence & Development Team, this individual is responsible for envisioning, developing, and branding a best-in-class portfolio of solutions for leaders at all levels across North America. This portfolio includes programs and pivotal experiences for existing leaders in the areas of capability building, executive development, assessments, leadership branding, onboarding, coaching, and more. The Leadership Excellence Manager, in conjunction with the team, will partner with business leaders in owning, designing, communicating, and monitoring effectiveness and impact of a robust leadership solutions portfolio.

The Manager, Leadership Excellence is a subject matter expert for leadership development for existing leaders within the region, with a strong focus on building capabilities that will sustain and grow the business, and drive a culture of empowerment, high performance, speed, inclusion, transparency, and open dialogue.

The leadership role is responsible for all aspects of current leaders' development, from strategic to operational, in alignment with global and regional processes. Specific areas of responsibility will include: capability building for current leaders, on-boarding of new leaders, leadership assessment, Learning & Development (L&D) programs and solutions for leaders, coaching, guidelines, and policies in the areas of leadership excellence. In addition, this role will be responsible for the coaching and development of 1 team member.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Create a cohesive current leaders' development vision and strategy that enables a more proactive advisory approach with the business.
- Develop a branding strategy for leadership excellence, aligned with existing global frameworks and guidelines, but also expanding to support specific regional needs and cultural nuances
- Own and manage the overall leadership excellence portfolio; conduct periodic needs analysis by audience, portfolio reviews, talent gaps, and needs assessments to ensure portfolio effectively builds needed capabilities to support the business.
- Take primary responsibility for the design, implementation, ongoing management, and administration of key development programs for our current leaders.
- Apply adult learning principles, instructional design principles, and experience working with multiple formats (digital formats, performance, and on-the-job development) to lead the creation of learning solutions for our current leaders
- Serve as lead facilitator for selected key programs and initiatives
- Train Core Talent Solutions Team (CTST) team members, HR colleagues, and business leaders to deliver key content as needed
- Cultivate a strong external benchmark with other top notch organizations and associations to ensure that best-in-class and innovative solutions are continuously integrated into our portfolio.
- Identify and manage external strategic partners and vendors to serve and support internal leadership and talent development needs to include subject matter experts, faculty, coaches, and instructional designer. Ensure external resources are fully leveraged to serve, support, and scale the internal team.
- Act as an influential partner within the Leadership Excellence & Development management team, influencing decision making, playing an active role in promoting processes/programs, and partnering closely with the Leadership and Executive Development Manager.
- Sit on global and regional project teams to support mutual initiatives.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in the Human Resources field.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and leading high-impact HR programs and initiatives within a large, complex work environment; a background in leadership, executive development, or L&D is preferred.
- Strong business acumen in understanding how organizations work with ability to anticipate the possible impact ramifications of strategies and tactics.
- Demonstrated experience in developing people, either directly or in project teams, as well as driving organizational teams.
- Proven ability to lead team members and engage with/influence senior leadership.
- Capacity to define, articulate, and market a strategic vision and game plan using data to generate insights and action.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management, up to and including the CEO and external service providers; a relationship builder who can maneuver well within a large organization and exude solid executive presence.
