Diversity Strategist, Talent Acquisition (1702132) - Florham Park, NJ

The Diversity Strategist will design and implement BASF's diversity recruitment strategy for all hiring areas across North America. This individual will envision regular events and initiatives to increase the diversity of our candidate pipeline and monitor progress to ensure we are driving to business results.

Reporting to the Talent Attraction Manager, the Diversity Strategist will partner closely with business leaders to brainstorm, collaborate and turn new ideas into action. In addition, s/he will work across various BASF groups (e.g., Diversity + Inclusion (D+I), University Recruitment) and build tracking mechanisms to ensure we are closely monitoring our progress, able to evaluate our investments, and uncover opportunities where we have room for improvement.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Hold responsibility for all aspects of diversity recruitment program management - stakeholder analysis, delivery mechanisms, performance metrics, and post-implementation support and operational execution plans
- Design targeted diversity talent sourcing, attraction, and selection strategies. Meet with key stakeholders to aid in developing the program roadmap. Collaborate with Talent Attraction Manager, Sourcing Partners, Brand Specialist, University Recruitment, and Recruitment Relationship Managers to ensure effective deployment.
- Identify new diversity recruitment tools and develop innovative initiatives to generate qualified diverse applicants for all areas.
- Analyze and segment roles by level, location, and job family, and design creative solutions to specifically address diversity talent challenges
- Uncover best practices through benchmarking with other firms and industry associations to monitor and assess North America progress.
- Partner with Employee Resource Groups and D+I team to broaden reach and impact/adoption of diversity recruitment strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with national diversity conferences and university faculty, career services departments, and campus organizations.
- Educate the Talent Acquisition Team on diversity trends and best practices. Collaborate with the Solutions Delivery Team to increase awareness and education among hiring managers.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or related field required is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and delivering diversity talent acquisition programs, and 3 years of project management with process design capability OR no degree and 7+ years of combined HR and talent acquisition experience.
- Proven track record of partnering with business leaders and recruitment teams to deploy effective programs and strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others without authority by thinking proactively and collaboration to drive results.
- Exceptional analytical ability and evaluative thinking skills. Proficiency with using data to drive sound decision-making identifying key metrics to measure impact, data analysis, spotting of trends, and advancing value-added recommendations.
- Ability to travel when needed.
