The Customer Care Distribution Key Account Specialist is responsible for expertly managing the order to cash activities for a specified strategic distributor that has been identified as a BASF Corporate Key Account and/or North America (NA) 2025 Customer.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of complex order to cash processes such as vendor-managed inventory, imports, drop shipments, and portal maintenance.
- Display written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
- Develop an In-depth understanding of a wide range of business rules and objectives across multiple Regional Business Units (RBUs). Able to work through the internal intricacies and complexities of BASF to effectively communicate varying business rules to the customer.
- Manage cross-business unit relations with multiple supply chain organizations and commercial team members to contribute to a positive customer relationship with BASF.
- Develop expertise in the customer's eCommerce platform, as well as BASF's ability to support that platform. Actively pursue eSolutions to suit the needs of the strategic key account. Ensure consistency within this arena across all BASF Operating Divisions.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor's degree required with 4 years of experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales, Information Services, or a relevant discipline; OR 8 years in Customer Service, Supply Chain, Sales, Information Services, or relevant discipline in lieu of degree.
- Computer proficiency required. Advanced skills in: SAP R3, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, web-based applications, and reporting tools is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of complex order to cash processes such as vendor managed inventory, imports, drop shipments, and portal maintenance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including utilizing data analysis to compile and present conclusions to a variety of audiences.
