BASF is seeking a motivated Administrative Associate with demonstrated organizational skills to support the Site Manager and Site Leadership Team in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Administrative Associate will manage daily office functions to ensure efficiency of operation of the group, including, but not limited to:
- Communication management - mail (internal, external), meeting minutes, voicemails, faxes, customer communications, etc.
- Plan Travel and make meeting arrangements with catering as necessary.
- Planning/coordinating of site employee events and charitable events.
- Administrative, cleaning and general supplies management.
- Administer site access security (with TES Manager.
- Administer Site P-Card Program.
- Complete travel expense reports as needed.
- Financial management - invoice (i.e., creation, payment, tracking, reporting), budgets (expense report management, cost center management, reconciliation).
- Use SAP reporting tools to provide requested data/information.
- Utilize various software, including Outlook, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, BASF Check Request and Cost Tracking Systems, to produce customized reports, presentations, documents, databases, journals and correspondence.
- Filing and record retention management.
- Assist with Regulatory Reporting.
- Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate team member.
- Maintain and update various lists and records including human resource matters.
- Utilize discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive documents.
- Occasional overtime.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED with a minimum of two years of experience in providing administrative support in a business environment.
- An Associate's Degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of above experience is preferred. This includes travel scheduling, expense reporting, invoice processing and event scheduling and planning.
- 2 years excellent computer skills including Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases and email use

Preferred Qualifications
- Possess strong communications and organization skills.
- Multi-task oriented and able to manage tight deadline demands with attention to details and follow-up activity.
- Professional and mature demeanor with strong team orientation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work across functions and manage outside vendors
- Experience with Regulatory Reporting is a Plus
- Experience with Technical Dictation is a Plus
