The Operational Vendor Management team is a global organization with regional team members who focus on the BASF internal business partners within each region. The overall team is globally managed and steered to manage vendors using similar tracking systems and reporting tools, which are also used to steer vendors.

Operational Vendor Management Analyst (1702527) - Florham Park, NJ

The Operational Vendor Management team manages and steers IT Vendors for PC Workplace and Printing support. We are seeking to expand the team in North America (NA) to ensure proper support is provided for all our NA internal business partners

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Assist in managing multiple IT Vendors in the NA Region, and participate in weekly meetings for Workplace, Printing, Procurement, Asset Disposal, and other IT vendors.
- Present status and progress on tasks, projects, and action items during global team meetings.
- Inform and work with vendor management when changes to BASF Policies and Procedures impact their Standard Operating Procedures.
- Review and audit vendor tickets for compliance, and approve/reject business exceptions.
- Communicate and lead BASF PC User major and minor incidents and drive them to resolution, using excellent and clear customer service skills with both the PC user and the BASF IT resolver.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor's degree required with 1-3 years of experience in various areas of IT PC Workplace and PC peripherals, Printer, and PC desktop software support.
- Prior experience in managing outsourced vendors is a plus.
- Able to effectively manage vendor and group tasks to insure BASF Key Performance Indicators and customer service levels are met.
- Working knowledge of basic project management, process analysis, process improvement, and change management methodologies, combined with logical and process-oriented problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer support and communications capabilities.
- Able to multitask while maintaining a high attention to detail in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills; intrinsic curiosity and self-motivation.
- Able to travel up to 5% of the time.
