We are currently searching for a motivated Marketing Communications Manager for our Agricultural Products (AP) Crop Protection Division in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

Marketing Communications Manager (1701877) - Research Triangle Park, NC

As a Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and strategy for advertising, public relations and other marketing communications programs of the BASF Crop Protection Division.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Be a team player and work well with the communications team and business marketing managers
- Contribute to development of strategic marketing and communications plans
- Supervise daily work of advertising and PR agency consultants in execution of marketing and communications plans per budgets
- Supervise deployment and measurement of a variety of communications tools / tactics, including news releases, digital communications vehicles, trade shows & other promotional events, direct marketing, and print, broadcast & online advertising
- Demonstrate value to the AP businesses by recommending, creating and managing strategic, creative and efficient marketing / communications programs

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, or Related Discipline
- 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing and business communications
- Experience in managing the development and execution of integrated programs, comprising public/media relations, advertising, direct mail, digital marketing, brochures and other communications tools
- Proven track record of succeeding in matrixed and team environments
- Demonstrated experience excelling at managing multiple, deadline-sensitive projects, keeping internal clients informed, tracking multiple budgets, forecasting and ROI measures
- Willing and able to travel 25 - 50% of the time
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment

We Also Look For…
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of these fields is a plus: commercial agriculture, crop protection, food sciences, environmental protection/services or similar regulated field
