Job Description

Our firm is searching for an ideal candidate to help grow our
business by supporting and assisting the sales producers. The
position will involve the financial analysis of businesses and real
estate and being proactive in anticipating and solving for problems
to help qualify sales opportunities for client advisors.
The candidate excels in a fast-paced environment while carefully
focusing on attention to detail.
Our candidate will find themselves in a very supportive team
environment yet there will be very high expectations for the
candidate to take ownership of their work product and deliver
results.
Primary Responsibilities by Category:
Financial analysis of for-profit, private school
businesses, and their real estate (25%)

Assist Client Advisor by creating business and real estate
valuations

Abstract commercial real estate leases as needed

Creative and Professional Writing (25%)

Prepare valuation reports for clients using proprietary
processes

Prepare sales memorandums used for marketing business and real
estate offerings

Verbally and in writing interact with high net worth clients
and institutional buyers in a professional manner

Assist Client Advisor in creating presentations in MS Power
Point, WORD, and EXCEL

Research (25%)

Research demographic and micro-economic market trends

Utilize online real estate databases to research comparative
sales and leasing data

Research public records for real estate and business data

Other (25%)

Assorted other tasks will be assigned on an as-needed
basis

Required Skills and Background

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in
business, finance or real estate

Microsoft WORD and Power Point - Intermediate to Advanced

Microsoft EXCEL - Advanced

Understand financial statements (P&L's and Balance Sheets) -
Intermediate

Preferred Skills and Background

Experience with business and real estate valuations

Experience with for-profit private school operations or
business management

Creative and professional writing skills

Use of CRM systems

Understand real estate financial underwriting criteria

Understand title commitments, appraisals, and land use codes or
zoning

Experience with commercial real estate sales transactions
(residential does not qualify)

Compensation: Base pay $50,000 - $60,000 (DOE), performance
bonuses, vacation and paid time off, and stipend for health
benefits.
