BAE Systems' Electronic Systems (ES) sector is looking for candidates to join our Facilities Engineering team starting in the summer of 2018. We have an intern position for a talented, up and coming Facilities Drafting, CAD, technician who want to work for a prominent high-tech company where technical excellence is highly valued. Our mission is "We protect those who protect us", and as a Facilities Engineering Intern in Electronic Systems, you will develop your career skills while helping to protect the brave men and women in our armed forces, intelligence, and first responder communities.

ES develops advanced electronic solutions which are fielded on everything from Electronic Warfare (EW) mission systems to state of the art imaging, targeting, guidance, and survivability solutions to assist and protect the warfighter. Our products must work the first time and every time because lives depend on it. The stakes are high!

Facilities Engineering interns work side-by-side with experienced project management, site management, project coordinators and senior engineering staff.

This internship is a paid internship, which will be at BAE SYSTEMS in southern New Hampshire and will provide general insight into drafting, CAD, facilities planning, management.

Some of the responsibilities of a Facilities Technical Intern HS Drafting / CAD include:

Support senior engineering and project management personnel in the design, development and layout of facility fit-ups and equipment installations. Survey, and documentation. The diagraming of existing conditions for future and historical recording. Arrange optimum type and number of views to reflect complete drawing, Possesses knowledge of Computer Aided Drafting application (s), (CAD). Works form moderately

Develop, maintain, and revise technical drawing packages, documents, etc., based on examples and company and industry standards. Performs specific technical assignments of investigatory, design, and layout. Application of building codes as it relates each project.

Prepare charts, diagrams and reports expressing technical progress and accomplishments measured against specific plans.
