Associate Scientist

Perform total protein concentration (A280), SE-HPLC, RP-HPLC, and peptide mapping analyses using validated methods to support clinical release and stability, reference material qualification, and product development. Execute additional protein chemistry analyses, which may include, pH, osmolality, Karl Fischer moisture testing, and visible/ visible semi-quantitative/ sub-visible (e.g. HIAC, MFI) particulates analysis. Contributes to reporting study sample results following the departmental policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with and maintains required training in company and departmental GLP, SOP, safety and other departmental guidelines. Ensures that notebooks and other documentations are up-to-date as per departmental guidelines. Works relatively independently to meet short term goals and objectives. Proactively provide clear, timely communication of potential issues to MAD management.

BS or MS degree in chemistry, biochemistry or related scientific discipline with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a bioanalytical laboratory.

Prior experience running UV-Vis, wet chemistry methods (including pH, KF, osmolality etc.) and HPLC is required. LIMS experience a plus. The candidate must have good written communication skills and a proven track record of delivering when working under timelines. Understanding of cGMP/GLP and GDPs practices and EHS requirements is essential. Ability to comply with all applicable SOPs, internal MAD requirements and external regulations is a must. Preferred candidate will have a minimum of three years analytical laboratory experience in a GMP environment.
