Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

Work with Executive Leadership, Sales Operations, Field Sales, & Marketing to support sales analysis and planning. Streamline standard reporting processes, implement & manage dashboards for sales results & key performance metrics. Complete ad hoc reporting requests for strategic analysis or specific sales objectives. Identify & report on trends in key customer, sales channel, & business line activity to include market & competitive intelligence

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

-Analyze, research, & report 80/20 account ranking variance information on a rolling 12 month basis. Investigate factors driving positive & negative variances (in order volume & frequency) for key customers & distributors by business line or industry segment. Summarize variances by reason code to establish trends and actionable intelligence for all levels of APS management.

-Collect & consolidate pipeline potential data from CRM system to help management generate periodic business condition forecasts. Proactively compile & analyze win-loss data and reports on key findings to leadership and other internal customers.

-Monitor the accuracy & efficient distribution of sales reports that are essential to Sales Operations. Recommend revisions to current reports, or assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed. Support sales & business line management in the annual forecasting process. Assist management in establishing territory & business line sales targets and monitoring monthly performance against goals.

-Data mine account history information for field sales & inside sales. Information to include past usage reports, waterfall analysis, zero account, parts or service - no plastics. Other information as required.

-Create competitive data base by collecting, organizing, & disseminating market intelligence for strategic business planning.

-Assist sales & business line managers in developing a competitive Matrix or competitive training curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business Administration desired.

-Demonstrable proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word) plus high understanding of ERP systems and high proficiency in report writing.

-3-5 years of experience in sales support areas and familiarity with sales management, sales drivers, and sales processes.

-Flexible approach to work activities.

-Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
