Program Manager, IT M&A Integration

Position Overview

Are you looking for a high energy team where you can make a direct contribution to supporting a great organization? We are hiring an IT M&A Integration Manager to join our fun and hard-working Digital Enterprise Services (DES) team at Autodesk.

The IT Service Portfolio and Marketing (SPM) team is seeking an M&A Integration Manager to work cross-functionally supporting Autodesk business services. You will drive the process to support all management activities of acquisition integration and disposition disintegration on behalf of Autodesk. You will be responsible for influencing and driving diverse service teams to deliver all necessary integration/disintegration functions in support of the business model for the participating division. Through a combination of your strong planning skills, solid communications skills, and ability to drive to strict deadlines, you will help Digital Enterprise Services achieve its strategic objective of digitizing the employee experience for newly acquired teams.

Responsibilities

* Partner with other M&A leads in DES and other organizations within the company to transition acquired companies to Autodesk standards from due diligence activities through full integration
* Manage data-sets related to service area processes and frameworks; support the collection, reporting and presentation of multiple data elements to forecast the progress of the program and individual SME projects
* Create a service portal for internal stakeholders to assess the status of all integration deliverables with a focus on internal and external communication, improving transparency where possible, and radiating information of the team status and issues
* Ensure meeting artifacts and process documents are maintained/generated/distributed, to communicate progress to stakeholders
* Coordinate and facilitate meetings in support of integration activities (e.g., daily stand-up, backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives); adapt process as required to maximize each team's success
* Work with cross functional team and departmental managers to properly resource the projects based on the required level of effort
* Help articulate and present the direction for program work streams with regard to process, deliverables and timelines
* Proactively identify and manage the risk profile of each assigned work thread, with particular focus on cross functional risks due to thread dependency.
* Support resource assignment, time tracking, and other initiatives that are involved in the management of the overall project plans.
* Participate in pre-planning activities to inform decision making and business goal validation
* Facilitate the removal of tactical and organizational impediments to team progress
* Identify and coordinate dependencies with external and internal teams
* Align on internal service methodology to support delivery of integration tasks

Minimum Qualifications

* A curiosity and eagerness to learn about our expanding business drivers
* A tenacity to work through business problems and deliver business value
* Must have strong communication skills as well as build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and clients
* Learn about the service areas you are partnering with on integrations to foster meaningful discussions and question assumptions
* Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio etc.)
* 6 years of software Project Management or Scrum Master experience, working cross functionally within an IT organization
* Bachelors' Degree

Preferred Qualifications

* Project Management Professional Certification
* MBA
* Previous experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
