Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Line Manager for the global Service Line Team, supporting the Global Consulting Delivery team. The Service Line is a part of Global Consulting Delivery and is made up of a team of industry and technology consulting experts located around the world. The Service Line team defines and maintains a portfolio of consulting services that seeks to assist all customers in achieving meaningful outcomes using Autodesk products. As a part of the global Service Line team, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining our Services Portfolio aimed at the Automotive sector. This role is an exciting opportunity to be at the center of Autodesk's investment in Customer Success and a superior customer experience.

Responsibilities

* Define a world-class Services Portfolio that will enable our consultants and partners to innovate and deliver high-impact solutions and services to our customers. Use a life cycle approach to ensure our Services Portfolio meets organizational needs and objectives


* Collaborate with a global team of Service Line Managers to align on the solutions and services that are the strategic priorities within our Services Portfolio


* Maintain connections with key Product and Marketing stakeholders to ensure our Services Portfolio has maximum impact on customer success and product adoption


* Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to contribute regional experience and customer insights into corporate strategic planning activities


* Serve as an essential business partner for the Sales and Customer Success teams in the region by supporting Consulting Delivery Management on account planning and subsequent execution to achieve account objectives


* Lead project teams of consultants to develop repeatable solutions for delivery at a global scale. Collaborate with Consulting Delivery Management to roll out consultant and partner enablement programs on repeatable solutions


* Drive efficiency and consistency in the scoping and contracting of consulting services through process improvement and oversight, ensuring engagements are aligned with organizational objectives


* Deliver billable consulting activities on occasion for key customers to stay connected to customer needs and industry trends



Minimum Qualifications

* BS degree in a relevant technical field such as Automotive or Mechanical Engineering. Master's degree is highly desirable


* 5 years of Automotive industry experience


* Proven experience in leading the preparation of proposals (including scoping, estimating and contracting) for large, complex, technical projects


* Comprehensive knowledge of Autodesk (or competitive) design and construction software and their value in a project environment


* Proven ability to work with diversified technical, sales, and project management teams


* Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, including conducting workshops, facilitating meetings, and delivering effective presentations


* Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel



Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working for software companies with subscription business models and next generation technologies, undergoing the transition to "partner and outcomes" from "vendor and products"


* Knowledge of cloud-based processes and technologies as they relate to the AEC sector


* Experience deploying Autodesk design and construction software across organizations


* Experience defining and implementing BIM processes between multiple disciplines and parties, such as architects, engineers, and contractors


* Proven track record of technical services design resulting in successful consulting engagements


* Experience in product management and/or life cycle management processes
