Job Description

Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part Time Medical Laboratory technologist for Newton Medical Center.

Responsibilities

1. Perform lab testing in the Core Lab and report results according to SOP.2. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.3. Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP.4. Maintain and manage laboratory supplies.5. Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team.

Qualifications

This position is Part time and the hours for the role will be 2pm - 10pm and every other weekend.

Education:

* BS degree is Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology
* ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification

Requirements:

* Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary; new graduates welcome.
