Job Description

Atlanta Motorsports Park is the first green, sustainable motorsports country club for high performance cars, motorcycles, and karts. Less than an hour north of Atlanta, AMP provides a driver's haven for its members and their guests. Atlanta Motorsports Park offers private track rentals, car racing, kart racing, kart and car racing schools, supercar experiences, a conference center, catering, and corporate group options. In addition, AMP's unique kart track has the highest elevation change in the world and attracts visitors from all over the world.

Atlanta Motorsports Park's VP/Director of Membership Sales serves as an ambassador for the company, our unique services, and our community.

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualities:

• MUST have solution or service sales background of 3 to 5 years. NOT product sales
• High social intelligence with the capacity to effectively navigate and negotiate complex social relationships and environments
• Creativity and ability to take a lateral approach to sales
• Excellent written, communication, and public speaking skills
• Self-starter who is unafraid to take a pioneering approach within a fast-moving, rapidly expanding business
• Ability to interact with an upscale clientele including C-level executives and celebrities
Duties & Responsibilities:
Membership Recruitment
• Develop, implement, and promote programs and activities to increase and retain membership in the club. (Prospect Member Events, New Member Socials/Mixers, Membership Specials, etc.)
• Provide venue tours and information on our membership classifications to all prospects
• Collaborate with the Events Department to create exciting experiences for new and existing members
• Coordinate the membership application process from start to finish
• Perform new-member orientations
• Create strong relationships with current members to keep member stratification and also receive referrals
• Tracks the success and performance of all membership development activities and promotions
• Develop and foster a network of individuals and companies who can provide leads to the club for new member recruitment
• Determine markets to be canvassed for qualified individuals
• Maintain a strong database of inquiries or other leads and provide consistent follow up
• Work very closely with dealers and the automotive community to introduce and educate potential buyers about our club and community
• Create relationships with the dealerships in the region for leads from the sales and service department
• Develop sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative

Member Retention

• Attend member events and work to maintain harmonious relationships with Members
• Provide the Marketing Department with creative input for communication to Members
• Meet with Members on a proactive basis to discuss transition opportunities to higher membership classes
• Assist all departments in communicating to Members various sales and events
• Visible liaison between Club Management and Membership.
• Follow up on all resignation letters
• Perform exit interviews and recommend alternative memberships


Corporate Sales
• Seek out major clients and form working relationships with companies in the automotive and non-automotive sectors
• Sell advertising / sponsorship packages
• Promote track rental services
• Develop sales strategies to keep the company competitive and innovative
• Nurture strong relationships with clients
• Identify and report on business opportunities within target sectors
• Represent the business at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events
• Measure efforts and produce reports for the CEO using Base CRM

COMPUTER SKILLS
Strong technical skills including a sound working knowledge of various computer software programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and expertice on CRM systems.

Salary
Salary commiserate based on experience and will include incentives based on sales performance.
