Job Description

The Systems Analysis and Exploitation (SAE) program area performs research, development, and vulnerability analysis of hardware and software systems covering the spectrum of cybersecurity technologies. The SAE team is focused on tearing apart hardware and software system to find out what makes them work. The team performs a variety of vulnerability analysis across a wide range of cybersecurity technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Work with the foundational elements of computer security, system vulnerability analysis, and software engineering
* Contribute to project documentation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
* Lead & coordinate small teams of Entry-Level Reverse Engineers
* Work on vulnerability assessments, Reverse engineering (software and hardware), Penetration testing, Research and Development, Scripting and Exploit development
* Conduct reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis for hardware and software components of complex systems
* Support vulnerability discovery for both commercial customers as well as DoD systems
* Utilizes disassemblers, reversing aids, etc. to assist in the reverse engineering process
* Work individually or in a team environment to complete research, design and building novel software capabilities

Required Education, Experience, and Abilities:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of experience or a combination of education and experience.
* Active TS/SCI clearance
* 5 years' experience with technical report writing skills (white papers, proposals, etc.)
* 5 years experience with C/C++/C#, Intel x86/x64, Java, Python/SCAPY, Linux shell
* 5 years' experience with network protocols (IP/TCP/UDP, Sockets, NETBIOS, FTP, Telnet, SSL/TLS, MODBUS/DNP3/PROFINET SCADA protocols)
* 5 years' experience with developing software to operate for Windows, Linux, QNX, DOS, VMS operating systems

Preferred Education, Experience, and Abilities:

* Knowledge of Virtual Environments
* Knowledge of DoD contracting
* C Compilers and Linkers (Windows and Linux)
* Visual Studio
* General Linux tools (grep, cat, ssh, etc.)
* IDA Pro
* Hex Editors
* Scripting
* Exploit Development
