Aspire Behavioral Care is a small growing company located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

  • Desire to work with children of all ages with disabilities ranging from mild to severe.
  • Assistance with self-care skills.
  • Assistance with physical mobility such as walking, getting up from the ground or floor, transferring from wheelchair to chair and vice versa.
  • Assistance with health conditions including seizures, diabetes, g-tube feeding etc.
  • Ability to intervene with behavioral issues not limited to but including, physical outbursts, (hitting, kicking, biting, head banging, spitting, and any and all self-injurious behaviors)
  • Assistance with developmental disabilities including Autism, Down Syndrome, etc
  • Support, and supervise the child in their daily activities at all times.
  • Observe child for any physical changes and signs in behavior or demeanor that could be a result of illness, abuse, improper dressing or grooming, medications, etc.
  • Report any observations to your supervisor.
  • Perform all duties to uphold, respect and advocate for the child's rights.
  • Report immediately to your supervisor any incident involving a child.
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship with all Aspire Behavioral Care staff and the community. Including performing all duties to professionally represent, exemplify and champion Aspire Behavioral Care.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all child/family information.
  • Comply with all state, federal, local laws and regulations as well as Aspire Behavioral Care policies and procedures.
  • Attend and participate in all mandatory training, in-services, and staff meetings.


  • Must have a valid and appropriate driver's license, as required.
  • Must have current basic liability coverage on personal vehicle and proof of the insurance, as required.
  • Must have a current vehicle registration of personal vehicle, as required.
  • Must maintain a personal vehicle in safe operating condition, as required.
  • Must have a driving record that meets the requirements of Aspire Behavioral Care's policy and Aspire Behavioral Care's insurance carrier underwriter guidelines and requirements, as required.
  • Must have criminal record clearance.
  • Must have current Basic First Aid and CPR certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be comfortable working with children with disabilities.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must exercise good judgment and make competent decisions.
  • Must be able to be flexible, work closely and cooperatively with the entire team.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English and complete all required documentation.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Minimum High School Diploma Associates Degree Preferred
  • 1 Year Experience working with children with disabilities
  • Able to lift 30 LBS
  • Able to be physically active (go to the park, take walks, give children baths, climb stairs etc).
