ENGINEERING Applications Engineer 3 sought by ASML in San Jose, CA, to support leading customer with defect inspection & control challenges, driving technical team to integrate solutions to meet customer reqmts by identifying strategies to stretch the eqpmt, software & associated processes beyond specifications to deliver reqd product performance. Master's deg in Electrical Engg or closely related field & 2 yrs of relevant exp OR Bachelor's deg in Electrical Engg or closely related field & 4 yrs of relevant exp reqd. Relevant exp is exp in semiconductor envrmt with a strong emphasis on lithography, defect metrology, &/or semiconductor process. Hands-on exp with lithography, metrology, simulation, & analysis tools, Script level prgmg skills (Matlab, Python or R) & data analysis & visualization (JMP/ Spotfire), knowl of optical physics, imaging & semiconductor process technology & up to 30% business travel reqd.
