Job Description

Artnet is the leading international platform to buy, sell, and research art online. We are seeking a full-time temporary Business Development Coordinator to join the Sales Team in our New York office. As a Business Development Coordinator, you will support the Sales Team in acquiring contracts, researching prospects, and fielding day-to-day queries. You will also be responsible for maintaining Sales Team workflows and organizing Artnet's client database.

You will be reporting directly to the Business Development Manager in the historic Woolworth Building, working together as Artnet leads the way in growing the art industry.

Responsibilities:

* Review and proofread contract details to facilitate contract execution
* Distribute, log, and track sales inquiries based on territory
* Design sales materials
* Maintain workflows and inventory
* Coordinate Sales Team administrative duties with Office Manager
* Support Business Development Team in maintaining Salesforce data
* Work with Business Development Team members on individual research projects
* Work with Business Development Team members on prospect research and competitor analysis
* Improve our products, services, and tools by contributing ideas and assisting with team projects
* Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

* 1 year prior work experience preferred
* Bachelor's degree or higher
* Background in art history, fine arts, or arts administration preferred
* Strong communication skills
* Efficient and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Excellent organizational skills
* Strong research and analytical skills a plus
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Knowledge in design programs (especially Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat DC)
* Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
