Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Details:

Employment Status: Full Time

Job Location: Brownsville, TX

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

* Assist with verification of daily deposits


* Assist with research and resolution of deposit discrepancies


* Communicate with sales field via phone or email as necessary


* Collect data and prepare monthly metrics


* Prepare journal entries for adjustments needed


* Assist with month-end closing


* Research requested information by using available resources


* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential


* Other duties as assigned



Education & Experience

* High School or GED Required, Technical accounting education/training or equivalent


* Knowledge of accounts receivable


* Excellent communication skills both oral and written


* Proficient in relevant computer software (QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Excel and Word)


* Problem analysis and problem solving skills


* Planning and Organizational Skills


* Language: English required, bilingual preferred
