This position involves developing software for video compression products at our Santa Clara office. You will be joining the team that developed industry standard (and Emmy-award winning) products such as the Cherrypicker product line.

You will be involved in design and implementation of software for ARRIS next-generation advanced video encoding platform, the ME-7000.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree Engineering) 2 years' experience. Degree should be in a relevant field, such as computer science or electrical engineering.
* Knowledge of audio compression formats (MPEG1, Dolby Digital, AAC, AES3, etc.)

Desired Experience and Skills:

* Experience integrating/validating audio libraries
* 2 years of experience in C programming
* 2 years of experience with Linux in embedded systems
* Excellent communication skills
