Arnot Health - St. Joseph's Hospital - Elmira, New York

Job Summary:

The RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides care to meet the physical psychological, spiritual, and social needs of patients. The RN is responsible for patient care, assessment, education, and documentation. The RN is expected to perform their duties according to established standards of care and the core values established by Nursing Services management.

Education Requirements:

Prior RN experience preferred, but not required. CPR/BLS required within 90 days of hire date. ACLS desirable. Functional Independence Measure Score (FIMS) certification within 90 days of employment required. Mandatory weekly FIM education sessions; 80% attendance required annually. BSN desirable.

Experience Requirements:

Current NYS Registered Nurse license in good standing or limited permit.
