Job Description


Tool and Die Key Functions:

  • Safely repair, maintain, and troubleshoot progressive and single hit tooling used to in steel manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to work from detail and assembly blueprints, sketches, samples, drawings, and/or verbal instructions
  • Utilize shop mathematics to determine angles, tapers, and distances, etc.
  • Safely operate a variety of trade equipment and tools to exacting specifications to design, maintain, create, and repair tooling
  • Produce, assemble, troubleshoot and diagnose parts and components for complete die assemblies
  • Safely work with mechanical power presses and familiar with proper tooling set up procedures
  • Assist maintenance personnel as necessary and make equipment replacement parts


Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma (or equivalent), and be able to work in a team-based environment.  Previous Tool and Die Making experience is preferred and a journey machinist will be considered based on skill. 


Positions available are on the 3pm-11pm or 11p-7a shifts.
