Sales position for the Functional Polyolefins group . Calling on existing and prospective US customers

 

Job Diemnsions

  • Direct/Indirect responsibilities for the following:

  • Manage Sales Territory in a defined territory between $20MM and $25MM in sales.

  • Sales results and activity reporting (call reports, monthly reports)

  • Account relationships with purchasing, research/development and operations personnel

  • Market segment monitoring and projections

  • Identification of new opportunities, technologies, market trends including forecasting.

  • Price negotiations within scope defined in conjunction with business manager

 

Activities include

  • Routine sales calls to existing and prospective corporate purchasing and research /development personnel

  • Routine calls to customer’s major use location(s) to review demand, handling, and use of functional polyolefin products.

  • Negotiate business agreements with key customers.

  • Identify and facilitate appropriate high-level contacts between the Functional Polyolefins group and customer and coordinate meetings between both parties.

  • Provide first-line technical support and coordinate involvement of R&D team.

  • Provide monthly progress reports, analyze results and identify positive aspects to be driven or areas for improvement/corrective action.

  • Develop and maintain a business plan for assigned territory

 

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of BS degree in Business, or a technical field such as polymer science, polymer processing, materials science, Chemistry or chemical engineering. Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience
